  • GIROUX & LEE TAKE NOR-CAL KICKOFF EVENT AT LAKE McCLURE
    Saturday, January 5,2002,
    Lake McClure, CA....Nor-Cal Bass kicked off its 2002 season at Lake McClure, in the California Foothills. One hundred and one anglers from Northern California came out to fish for the more then $9,000 in prize money that would be awarded at the end of the day.

  • SCHULTZ & GRISSOM TAKE DON PEDRO TITLE WITH A SOLID 6 FISH LIMIT WEIGHING 14.30 LBS

    La Grange, CA....Seventy-eight anglers made their way to Don Pedro this past weekend to fish for the more then $7,500 in prize money that would be awarded at the end of the day. The fishing had been spotty with many anglers reporting catching solid limits while others complained about how tough it was too catch a limit.

  • BORBA & BRAY TAKE NEW MELONES TITLE WITH 18.68 LB LIMIT  
    Saturday, March 9,2002,
    Angels Camp, CA....Glory Hole Sports hosted the morning check-in for the 3rd stop on the Nor-Cal Bass Pro-Am Tournament Trail at New Melones. Eighty anglers came out to compete for the more the $7,000 in prize money to be awarded at the end of the day.

  • HOMEN & SUMMERS TAKE NOR-CAL OPEN TITLE AT DON PEDRO   
    Saturday, March 23, 2002, La Grange, CA
    .... The turnout for the Nor-Cal Open at Lake Don Pedro was lower then expected, which was understandable considering the light show the anglers witnessed when they opened up their doors to leave Saturday morning.

  • SIGHT FISHING IS THE KEY TO VICTORY AT CLEAR LAKE FOR VALDEZ & BILLINGS
    Sunday, April 7, 2002, Lakeport, CA....
    Nor-Cal’s 4th Pro-Am event of the 2002 season took place on one of the greatest fisheries in the nation. Lakeport, CA, on the shores of beautiful Clear Lake, was the host location for this tournament.

  • BILLINGTON & BROOKS BRING IN 16.94 LBS TO TAKE CAMANCHE TITLE 
    Saturday, May 11, 2002,
    Lake Camanche, CA....The 5th stop of the year took place at Lake Camanche in the heart of the California foothills. Seventy anglers checked in to fish the event under a chilly morning that would turn into a bright warm afternoon.

  • BUCKHOLZ & BERG TAKE NOR-CAL NIGHT OPEN AT DON PEDRO  
    Sunday, June 2, 2002, Lake Don Pedro, CA....
    Fifty-two boats signed up to fish the Nor-Cal Bass annual night open at Lake Don Pedro. After a week of steadily warming weather that touched the 100’s by weeks end, the anglers were glad to see a slight break for the weekend.

  • STEVE & KATHY TOSH TACKLE TOUGH CONDITIONS FOR VICTORYIN NOR-CAL MIX TEAM

    Lake Don Pedro, CA....Warm weather and tough fishing conditions marked the annual Nor-Cal Mix Team tournament at Don Pedro. Twenty-eight teams signed up to fish this fun filled event that included a BBQ lunch and raffle that would follow the tournament. 

  • Matuska & Corrie Jr. take Owners Tournament with a 2-day total of 46.38 lbs.
    Sunday, September 15, 2002, Lakeport, CA....
    Tony Matuska, of Discovery Bay and Bart Corrie Jr., of Brentwood, take the Stratos Javelin Owners tournament with an awesome 46.38 lb. 2-day total. The teams weight was capped with an 9.54 lb kicker. The anglers fished weedy areas in the north end of the lake with worms and frogs. 

  • BLADES & BREWSTER TAKE FINAL NOR-CAL EVENT OF 2002   
    September 25, 2002, Oakley, CA.... The final event of the 2002 season took place on the California Delta out of Big Break Marina in Oakley, CA. Sixty-one anglers signed up to compete for the $5,500 in prize money that would be awarded at the end of the day.   

  • McKENZIE & REMMERS CROWNED CHAMPIONS AT 2002 NOR-CAL BASS TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS 
    October 19&20, 2002, Cal Delta, B&W Resort....
    The $10,000 2002 Nor-Cal Bass Tournament of Champions took place this past weekend on the California Delta. B&W Resort hosted the event that paired the top 20 pro and amateur anglers who qualified through our 6-event tournament trail.
