BLEVINS & BUGARIN TAKE NOR-CAL BASS SEASON OPENER AT DON PEDRO
January 4, 2003.... Saturday marked the kickoff of Nor-Cal’s 2003 season and a new era for the organization. They officially started their strategic partnership with 100% Bass, bringing western anglers a world-class 1-day pro-am tournament trail. 

BRAY & WILSON CAPTURE NOR-CAL TITLE AT CAMANCHE
Saturday, February 1, 2003....Saturday marked the second stop on our 2003 Pro-Am Tournament Trail. The event took place at beautiful Lake Camanche in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Seventy-one anglers showed up to fish the event under chilly weather conditions. Chris Cantwell, Marina Services Manager, at the lake had the café open with complimentary coffee and danishes for the anglers.

PATTON & HINTON TOP FIELD AT NEW MELONES
Saturday, March 08, 2003.... Third stop on the Nor-Cal Bass 2003 Pro-Am Tournament Trail took place at New Melones. After a week of spring conditions with highs reaching the 70’s, angler anticipation was high going into Saturday’s competition. Sixty-eight anglers were on hand to take part in the event that would award nearly $9,000 in prize money

HOMEN & SUMMERS REPEAT AS OPEN TEAM CHAMPIONS
Sunday, March 26, 2003.... Warm spring like temperatures leading up to the Nor-Cal Bass Open Team at Don Pedro gave way to stormy rainy weather last Sunday. Sixty anglers showed up to fish the tournament with the anticipation of catching shallow fish cruising the bedding areas of the lake

PIMENTEL & HENRY EDGE OUT COMPETITION AT McCLURE
Sunday, April 6, 2003.... Sunday marked the fourth stop for the Nor-Cal Bass Pro-Am Tournament Trail. The tournament took place at Lake McClure, where fifty anglers fished the event that accumulates points for the 2003 Pro-Am Championship. 

SEXTON & COUCHMAN TOP FIELD AT DON PEDRO NIGHT OPEN 
Sunday, June 1, 2003.... After a spring that didn’t want to stick around for long quickly gave way to summer, we found ourselves hovering around the triple digits. Along with the warmer temperatures comes the ski boats, jet skis and crowded lakes! If you still insist on fishing, then nighttime is the right time! 

JOHN & ANGIE KUHN TOP FIELD AT NOR-CAL BASS MIX OPEN 
Saturday, June 7, 2003.... This season has been a scheduling nightmare for Nor-Cal Bass. It seemed like the schedule had to be juggled and changed for nearly every tournament, the mix team was no different. Obviously the change in the schedule and unknowingly moving the tournament to graduation weekend created a direct impact on the turnout. Although we only had 13 teams sign-up to fish the tournament, they came prepared to have a good time.

VALDEZ AND MORGAN TACKLE TOUGH CONDITIONS FOR VICTORY
The fifth stop for Nor-Cal Bass took place on the California Delta. The event launched out of Big Break Marina in Oakley. The bite for many the past couple of weeks had grown tough. As if that wasn’t enough, the sixty competing anglers were greeted with high winds as they arrived for morning check-in.

MCKENZIE & REYNOLDS DOMINANT IN FINAL EVENT OF SEASON
Saturday marked the final qualifying event of the 2003 season. Fifty-six anglers signed up to fish for the coveted top twenty pro and am positions that will qualify for the 2003 Championship Tournament.
