Delta Division Event #4

MORENO & HERRERA TAKE TITLE AT 4TH DELTA EVENT OF THE SEASON

The 4th Delta Division event of the 2008 season took place on May 4th. The wind was howling at Tracy Oasis but the anglers still managed to bring several solid limits to the scales.

Topping the field was Salida pro Mike Moreno and partner John Herrera of Manteca. The pair brought in a 21.32-pound 5-fish limit that was impressive in the fact that the team didn't weigh-in a big fish.

Second place went to Hughson pro Phil Tilbury and partner Brian Paine. The anglers secured a 5-fish limit that tipped the scales at 18.67-pounds. Their weight was anchored by Tilbury's 6.42-pound delta bass.

Brentwood pro Angel Valdez and partner Curt Pellegrino finished 3rd with their 18.45-pound 5-fish limit. The teams weight was anchored by Valdez's 7.00-pound lunker that took big fish in the pro division.

Big fish in the am division went to Mike D`Amborgia with his 4.20-pound Delta lunker.
