The 4th event in the Motherlode Division took place at Lake Camanche. Changing weather has had the fish moving up and down as they try to start their spawning ritual. One day their on beds and the next they have backed off to deeper water.

Figuring out what the fish were doing on this day was Ione pro Joe Reyes and partner Art Romero of Denair. The pair brought in a 5 fish limit tipping the scales at 14.32-pounds. Their weight was anchored by Romero's 3.74-pound lunker that took big fish in the am division.

Second place went to Ione pro Jason Remmers and partner Terry Kleingartner of Atwater. The anglers brought in a 14.12-pound 5-fish limit.

Riverbank pro Jeff Frey and partner Don Delano of Modesto finished 3rd with a 13.62-pound 5-fish limit. Frey's 4.24-pound toad that took big fish in the pro division anchored the pairs weight.
